Tears and shocking mood was realised at wood and nail industry workshop in kasese town as the premises razed to zero.
On Saturday December 12,2015 fire gutted the kasese nail and wood industries Limited premises razing the main offices of the Executive director and those of accounts and auditors departments with all documents burning to ashes.

What shocked the workers and the management is that they have missed their salary for two months October and November and because that they are heading for Christmas festival it might be given as an excuse that money was stolen or perished in the burnt offices since no records remained available.

One of the staff who considered to talk anonymously because he has no authority to speak on behalf of the company revealed that the fire incident was an unfortunate one because it has mixed salt within an Injury.

“This incident is unfortunate one because since the death of our Director in September this year issues of payments have been issues and up to now we have not seen our payment for November and now because of this incident we may still go like this until Christmas,” He said.

Attempts to get a comment from Carol Nsubuga the Senior Director wood and nail were futile as she was up and down and told journalist that she was not ready for them and can not get information from the police.

“Am not ready for you at the moment and you can go to the police who have investigated the fire and all that we have lost in fire, am I Clear to you? Nsubuga said.
The officer in charge Fire and rescue services at kasese police station Inspector Amos Tukamuhabwa said that the fire started from the main offices during the wind is suspected to be from the electric wires that were observed direct on top of the roof.
